In keeping with its motto "Organic starts at the seed", Fintan Stiftung wants to ensure a self-contained, GMO-free provision of seeds for organic farmers. The company based in Rheinau focuses on the biodynamic breeding of new crops and the preservation of old vegetable varieties and the organic seed multiplication.

AVINA supports the Fintan Stiftung with researching biodynamic seeds that offer yields similar to non-organic seeds, produce better and healthier crops and increase the biodiversity.
